Hurry and get to the show to feed your animals. Hurry to the wash stall before it gets full. Hurry and get your cow dry before the icicles form. Then you wait...

We just came home from our seventh year at the Ohio Beef Expo. I can't believe it has been seven years already. As always, the week is packed full and always fun.  Daniel arrived at the fairgrounds early Wednesday morning to post stall assignments and move in all our equipment.
I was at work and Isaac and Walker were getting in one final day of school, so Daniel was on his own for all the heavy lifting. Yes...I know...we have been showing all winter. Just about every other weekend since November, we have been at a show. But...it's time for the grand finale... The Ohio Beef Expo!  Our favorite show of the year.
Yes...our favorite because we are down right tired and just want to be done... This weekend was the last regular show of the BEST season. We were all at the show this weekend...including Nash. We were all needed because with two rings of showmanship things got a little chaotic at times. But, we tag teamed and each took a kid...and everyone made it to their appropriate ring on time. Show day is a mix of taking your time...hurrying up...and then lots of waiting.           Next up is the grand finale at the Ohio Beef Expo. You might also like... |
