I know. The 10th was a long time ago. But...I just had so much other good stuff, I had to put this off.  All of our babies have been born for the year, so you get to see a lot of baby pictures...
with a few mamma's mixed in.

This summer started off slowly and full of relaxation. The boys worked tirelesly toward making preparations for the Knox County Fair. The hard work paid off and you can read about the results here and here. We moved out of the Knox County Fair and had two days to recover and finish final preparations for what we had waited and worked so long for.... The Ohio State Fair!  The first half of Knox County Fair week was pretty successful for Walker. All the animals were acclimated to the heat...as much as they could be, and had spent some practice time in the show ring. The feeder calves had strutted their stuff and were just waiting for sale day on Thursday.  Wednesday afternoon began with showmanship classes followed by all of the breed classes.
