The entry deadline for the Ohio State Fair is June 20th. So yes...if you have not entered yet...stop reading right now and go submit your online entries!  Now that entries are out of the way...we can talk about what is to come.

I always look forward to these birthday interviews. It isn't often that I get to sit down with my kids one on one to just talk about stuff. Walker is the one that throws curve balls. Just when you think you can predict what he is going to say...he says something so off the wall it leaves you speechless. If you missed his past interviews, you find them here. 12th Birthday 13th Birthday Life is never dull with Walker around.  We spent Memorial Day weekend on vacation! An actual vacation...that didn't involve any cows. Complete with very sketchy phone service...that made it even more of a vacation.  We rented a houseboat at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. We have been to Lake Cumberland twice before, but this is the first time we have been there since they finished repairs on the dam, and also the first time we have rented a houseboat.
The highlight of each evening was sitting around the table and watching a slideshow of all the pictures from the day. Instead of showing you all the beautiful pictures, I thought I would show you the pictures everyone kept asking to go back to. The bloopers and action photos of the week. |
