I always look forward to these birthday interviews. It isn't often that I get to sit down with my kids one on one to just talk about stuff. Walker is the one that throws curve balls. Just when you think you can predict what he is going to say...he says something so off the wall it leaves you speechless. If you missed his past interviews, you find them here. 12th Birthday 13th Birthday Life is never dull with Walker around. Now that you are getting ready to enter high school, do you have any idea where you want to go to college? I don't know where I want to go to college...somewhere close to home that has the stuff I want to do. What do you want to study in college? How to be a helicopter pilot. What do you like to do in your free time...after homework and chores? Go ride 4-wheelers in West Virginia...and play football. What is your favorite TV show? These are hard questions...a bunch of things...The Dukes of Hazzard. What is something I always say to you? "Load and unload the dishwasher" and "go do chores" What makes you happy? The first day of summer. What do you do when Mom and Dad aren't around? Their whole list of stuff they give me to do so they can relax when they get home. If we lost everything we owned today but could keep three things, what would you pick and why? 1. My cow, so I can make a profit. 2. A bull to breed the cow, so I can make even more of a profit. 3. Our truck, so I can go places. Of all the things you're learning, what do you think will be the most useful as an adult? How to run a farm. If you could grow up to be famous, what would you be famous for? The best helicopter pilot ever. What is your greatest strength? I am a good showman. What is your greatest weakness? Cleaning my room. What product would you stockpile if you found out it wasn't going to be sold any more? Winchester 222 rifle. If you could set one rule for the family that we all have to follow, what would it be? You don't have to go to school past 7th grade because you don't have to know any of that stupid Math stuff. What is your favorite childhood memory and why? Learning how to drive the old Willy's Jeep because I like driving. Would you rather eat cake or ice cream? Cake. If you could ban one vegetable for forever, what would it be? Peas and Lima Beans. If you could go anywhere, where would you go? Take a six week vacation out West and visit all the important stuff. Happy Birthday Walker! You can quit growing up any time now...
