Last Saturday we had about 6 inches of snow. I was so nice to stay home and not have to navigate the nasty roads. I took advantage of the daylight and undisturbed snow to capture some pictures. As miserable as snow can be...it sure is beautiful. Isaac is learning to use the plow on the 4-wheeler. He is working on the fine art of getting the most amount of snow off without digging into the gravel. Practice makes perfect. Dad isn't too picky when he doesn't have to do the work. Daisy wore herself out following everyone around. She just turned 8 on Valentine's Day. Our neighbor is having some health issues, so Daniel went over to help plow. There really is a driveway under there somewhere. He sure can be an icy fellow. It's wet. It's cold. Don't make me touch that stuff! Blah!
I think I agree.

AuthorHello! I am Heather... the city girl turned mom to manure loving country boys. My husband and I both grew up in the city, but spent weekends visiting grandparents in the country. We are first generation farmers who learn best by almost always doing things the hard way. I hope you enjoy following along with our adventures down on the farm. Archives
