Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer. Many schools are out, and our boys have one school (play) day left. Gardens are being planted, if not already done, and vacation plans are being made. On this weekend, everyone has their own special way that they remember those that have served our country. Some celebrate by attending a parade, placing flags at the graves of veterans or attending a memorial program. It is very easy to take advantage of an extra day off to pack the weekend full of activities and to-do lists. One of my favorite things to do on this weekend is to sit out on the back patio, soak up some beautiful sunshine and read a good book. I love to read. Give me some peace and quiet, a good book or a laptop, and I am one happy camper. I thought this weekend would be a great time to share with you some of the articles that I have been reading online lately. For those of you that hate reading...don't worry they aren't too long and won't tax your brain too much. For a few laughs... For some inspiration...
For some motivation... I hope this weekend you take time to remember those who have fought for our freedom. I hope this weekend you get a little extra work done. I hope this weekend you find some time for a little rest and relaxation. You might also like...
