It's Expo Week

Our favorite show of the year is the Ohio Beef Expo and we get to move in this week!

This show has always been our favorite, probably because it is really where we got our start, but it is now our favorite because of all the people.  Through all the years of showing with the Miniature Hereford Breeders Association the Ohio Cattlemen's Association B.E.S.T. shows, we have come to know a lot of people.  

It is so fun to just walk up and down the aisles, through the trade show, and around the grounds and see so many old friends.  It's hard to get very far without stopping and talking or catching up with someone we haven't seen in a while.  

I mean...it is fun to show...but the party back in the barn is way more fun!

It's also exciting to see how the Miniature Hereford presence at the Ohio Beef Expo has expanded.  The show has almost doubled in size since we first started coming.  

It is a testament to the breeders who have continued to bring good animals and recruiting new breeders to become involved in the show.  

Saturday, at 9:30 a.m. will be the second annual Miniature Hereford sale.  Be sure to check out the sale program here.  

This is a great opportunity to check out all the sale lots back in the barns and then make your way to the ring to purchase the newest edition to your herd.  You will have the opportunity to see the animals, watch them walk and talk to the breeders to learn all about the animals.

If you are going to be at the Ohio Beef Expo, be sure to stop by the O'Neill building and look us up.  We love to meet new people and reconnect with old friends.  

You can also come by and see Autumn in person.  

I asked Isaac if he was going to have a hard time putting her on someone else's trailer...and he said yes.  

But, as long as he gets to meet her new owner and knows she is going to a good home...I think he'll be o.k.

We will also have semen available for Smith, Wesson and Mitchell.  If you want to purchase semen, you can pick it up on site to avoid shipping costs.  

The Miniature Hereford show will be on Friday, at 2:00 p.m. and we would love to see you in the stands.
