l know it is only January... And we just took down our Christmas trees this weekend (don't judge)... But it is already time to start thinking about the Ohio Beef Expo. Entries must be post marked by February 1st. The Ohio Beef Expo is a special show becausee it is a week packed full of activities and opportunities. Not only do we have a Miniature Hereford Breeders Association open show, but juniors can stay over on Saturday and Sunday for the B.E.S.T. show. You have the opportunity to put your cattle in the show ring 4 separate. times. The schedule is still being finalized, but it looks like the Miniature Hereford show is going to be moved to first thing on Friday morning, March 17th. Even if you don't have cattle to show, take a vacation day and come watch the show. We love to look up and see the stands full of family and friends. The Ohio Beef Expo is one of our favorite shows because we have the opportunity to meet and talk with so many people. Our animals are in place by noon on Thursday, so we have Thursday, Friday and Saturday to talk with all of the people walking through the sale barn. We have met so many people and made so many contacts just from the Ohio Beef Expo. Don't forget to call your vet and schedule a time to complete the health papers for the show. Since we are stalled in the sale barn, we must follow the sale barn health requirements. For complete information on the show and entry forms, click here. We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new faces. You might also like...
