Are you going to the Ohio Beef Expo?

The Expo will be held at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio on March 19th - 22nd.

This year is going to be big for the Miniature Herefords!

Not only is there a Miniature Hereford show...

But new this year, the Miniature Herefords will be participating in the sale.
The schedule is different this year...but for a really good reason.

The Ohio Beef Expo just keeps growing.  The youth show has outgrown the space and time constraints, so they have moved all youth activities to a different arena.  This in turn frees up the Cooper Arena for other activities.

This year the Miniature Herefords will be showing at 12:00, noon on Saturday, March 21, 2020.  This is soooooo much better than 8:00 a.m.  when we had to get up in the weeeee hours of the morning to start show prep.

The animals will go through the show ring and be sorted by Judge Blaine French from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Come watch the show and see Miniature Herefords from all over Ohio and all across the country compete head to head.

Take good notes because the real excitement will begin at 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Brand new this year is the Miniature Hereford live auction.

The Ohio Beef Expo has always been known for their great cattle sales of many different breeds.  People come from all over Ohio and surrounding states, with trailers in tow, knowing they have the opportunity to bid on some of the best breeding and show animals around.

This year, we are proud to add Miniature Herefords to this great sale.

Sit ring side along with others to bid on some great genetics.  Whether you are just starting out, want to add to your existing herd or are looking for your next show cow, the Ohio Beef Expo is the place to be.

If you aren't able to join us ring side, the sale will also be hosted on Breeder's World where you can submit your online bids.

Our very own 4 Wiley Mountain Candy, or Candy Cane as we call her, will be going through the sale ring.

Walker is really doubting his decision to sell her, but she is in the sale catalog now, so he can't back out.

Friday is also a great day to visit the Ohio Beef Expo.

Breeders will be at their stalls with the show and sale animals.

If you want to see all the animals before the show and bidding begins, talk to the breeders, watch the animals walk and get all your questions answered, stop by the barns for a visit.

It's also a great time to meet breeders, find out about their farms and animals and even pick out your next herd sire or shop for semen.

Be sure to reserve some time to go visit the amazing trade show.

The Ohio Beef Expo sports one of the best trade shows around.  It isn't just clothes and shoes, but they do have some of that.  This expo is all about cows and cow equipment.  From vet supplies, mineral feeders, fencing and gates, it is all there.  Stop by and talk with the vendors about all the latest and greatest in cow and farm products.

And be sure to bring the truck...and your checkbook...because you won't leave empty handed.
