Today my baby is officially a teenager. Last year I asked Walker a few questions on his birthday and I loved the answers so much, I decided to do it again this year. With this kid...some things will never change... And when you least expect it...he throws you a curve ball. How old are you? "Thirteen." Do you feel different now that you are 13? "Not really." What is your favorite color? Orange. What is your favorite subject in school? Silence..."none"...."I'd say Science." What is your least favorite subject in school? "Definitely English." What is your favorite food? "Pesto Pizza." What is one food that you hate? "sushi" (he must be eating all these weird foods when he is with my brother, because I have never seen him eat sushi). What do you like to do with your free time? "Ride the 4 wheelers." If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? "A trip around all the national parks in the U.S.. I am not going out of the country...ever...in my life." What is one thing you always get in trouble for? "Not washing my lunch dishes." Are you a messy kid or a neat kid? Messy. What do you want to do when you grow up? "Be a car mechanic." Are you going to go to college? "Duh...I have to." What do you want to study in college? "How to work on cars." Who is your favorite cow? "Rain and Charity and Jewel." (obviously he doesn't know what favorite means) What is one thing your brother does that really annoys you? "Leaves gates open." What scares you? "Going out of the country." Maybe he has been watching too much news this year... What is something you have accomplished this year that you are really proud of? "I won the photography contest." What is one thing you want to accomplish as a thirteen -year-old? "Learn how to rake the hay field and cut with the haybine." What kind of birthday cake do you want? "A cow cake." Guess what Walker? We are actually going to celebrate your birthday... On your birthday... And we are already done with hay so we won't be up until midnight getting all the hay in the barn. So, enjoy your special day. Happy birthday Little Man! You might also like...

I have enjoyed these boys since I met them 2 years ago. It's been a privilege watching them grow. Walker has changed yet stayed the same. He is so sweet & kind hearted ; at least when I've seen him. I enjoyed this interview and last year's.
