On October 10th, I headed outside with every intention of taking some pictures of the cows and things around the farm. When I downloaded my pictures, I quickly realized that I had captured more faces of our family than of our cows. I captured the expressions, emotions and personalities of a typical evening around the farm. More than anything...this is what I want to remember. A typical evening at 4 Wiley Farm.. The humor and playfullness shining through...a.k.a. constant teasing. They aren't my babies anymore... But mama can still beat them up. Always wrestling....and then discovering how fun it would be to wrestle the other one into a fresh cow patty. It always ends with one (or both) mad. Just about every evening ends with a game of football or basketball. This is what I want to remember. You might also like...

AuthorHello! I am Heather... the city girl turned mom to manure loving country boys. My husband and I both grew up in the city, but spent weekends visiting grandparents in the country. We are first generation farmers who learn best by almost always doing things the hard way. I hope you enjoy following along with our adventures down on the farm. Archives
